  • Brian Cant

Brian Cant has sadly passed away, aged 83. Presenter of Play School from 1964-1985 and Play Away from 1971-1984. He is also remembered for narrating Camberwick Green, Chigley and Trumpton. Another part of my, and many other children's, childhood gone. R.I.P.

Playaway was the all dancing all singing spin-off to Play School

Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

Looking at those dates i see he did both shows at the same time.
He should have got an obe or something similar for his work.
