One of the few actors who almost became a children's TV presenter as "Mr Derek" to Basil Brush of course - and of course, Heartbeat and the "somewhere in between sitcom and satire" Yes Minister.
Was he the puppeteer of Basil Brush though? (the same for Rodney Bewes and Roy North) - I thought that job would have gone to someone under the desk operating the puppet.I've everything I need to keep me satisfied
