Alan who was the Footballing brother of the more famous Brian Little passed away the other day aged 69 years old

Alan most famously managed York City for 6 years in the mid-late 90s - which would not be anywhere near matched these days and was quite a "journey-man" player too

I was familiar with his brother Brian Little when he was manager of Leicester City - I have got a Nottingham Forest v Leicester City match on tape from 1994 where Forest beat Leicester 4-0 when Brian managed the latter club, and Forest went: "hello promotion" along with Crystal Palace. Alan Little must have managed York around the same time, when Brian went to Aston Villa.
