The extremley well known Novelist has passed on at 91 years old today

To be honest I was unsure as I thought Barbara had passed on years back, Barbara's book were far from my Cup of Tea - as far removed asyou can get but fair play to her in this industry for doing so well

I thought that she had passed on a few years ago as well, but I was probably confusing her with Dame Barbara Cartland. I believe that some of her novels were adapted as TV dramas mostly for ITV companies.

It was ironic she was born in a city in West Yorksshire, but it actually was Leeds and not Bradford considering her last name. Ironic that it was mentioned on the BBC's West Yorkshire page but not the Bradford one!
