Denis Law and Garry Brooke have passed away at the age of 84 and 64 respectively. Denis Law was a phenomenal player for Manchester United in the 60s and early 70s, being part of the team which lifted the European Cup, and represented Scotland with distinction, while Garry Brooke was a crucial part of the Tottenham team and won two FA Cup medals and one UEFA Cup medal. RIP to both - I have never heard of Gary Brook to be fair
What can not be said about Denis Law - a total legend that could unite one City and gained the ultimate repect from one City, even though he played a major part in Man City relegating Man Utd in the 70s, Dennis was like Derek Dooley - loved totaly by both side of the divide. I hope as with Derek and Derek Dooley Way that a Road is named after Denis
