Actress Loretta Swit, probably best known for her role as Major Margaret Hot Lips Houlahan in MASH, has passed away at the age of 87. She was a cast member from 1972 to 1983, but also starred in a host of other TV series and films. RIP.

She was the original Christine in the telemovie of Cagney & Lacey but couldn't appear in the TV series because of her MASH contract.
