    I think you'd be hard pushed to find anyone who cant name or hasn't seen at least one of this actors films.
    Leslie Nielsen died on November 28th 2010 aged 84 years old.

      I loved his films. They appeal totally to my stupid sense of humour and make me laugh out loud. For that I salute him, and I won't call him Shirley.

        He was a comedy legend.
        I watched his Police Squad tv series a few times. Hilarious.

          Was sad to hear about this, remember renting one of the Naked Gun movies with a mate and we laughed our heads off. I remember his performance in cult 80's horror/dark comedy Creepshow, I think he played the villain in one of the stories and it took me by surprise how well he could do other roles away from comedy. Seemed like a really nice guy too.

              I loved the Police Squad/ Airplane humour, but he was a serious actor before all that, and starred in lots of films, but my favourite was Forbidden Planet (1954?).
              Classic to sci-fi fans.

                Yes I remember him in "Forbidden Planet"......along with the great Robbie the Robot.....who would go on to feature in one of my fav kids TV programmes..."Lost in Space"....
