Wearing a Jumper at school

Often at my first Secondary, 1st day lads would always wear a Jumper - though it was only Sept and optional to, but regardless a fair few did not

I do recall though my 1st Day though - all my bestest mates saying "your not wearing a Jumper" (though of course it was optional and they probably did'nt cotton on to this fact, but it was an odd one - more so as everyone knows even now I wear Jumpers even in mid summer/on mid-Summer's Day. Was anybody else ever in such a Boat??

I used to wear a jumper at Infant and Junior school (one kid in my class said that a jumper I wore was red, when red was the colour that least appeared on it!) They kept me warm during the autumn and winter months.

By the time I had to wear uniform in what was to become Year Seven, I did wear a pullover. I suppose that as the school year starts when it starts to get colder, it keeps you warm.
