We used to skip to
Bumper car, bumper car number 48
went round the corner... (you ran round one of the people holding the rope and the word corner was drawn out until you jumped back in)
and slammed on the brakes
The police man came and put me in jail
how many days did I go to jail (you skipped to determine your sentence lol!)

Remember playing with two tennis balls against a wall - we called it
two-ball. We started with ten throws and worked down to one with various overs, unders, ups and downs. If you dropped it you lost a turn but picked up at the number you finished on (but kisses didn't count!)

thanks for that yep we called it 2 ball too, i was going to put that and then got brain freeze and thought nah must have another name lol

oh and the turn around one also had something about going upstairs and saying you prayers too

We used to sing (whilst doing that hand clapping thing) one that went:

When Susie was a baby
A baby Susie was, she said:
"Goo, goo, a goo-goo-goo"

When Susie was a teenager
A teenager Susie was, she said:
"Ooh, ahh, I've lost my bra, I've left my knickers in my boyfriend's car"(!)

And some more verses in between I can't remember!

She went waa, waa!, ah waa waa waa!

When Susie was a schoolgirl, a schoolgirl Susie was.
She went, Miss! Miss! I can't do this! (or sometimes i need a p*ss)

and when we were skipping one person either end of rope and u jumping
