Re: KICK START ... a tea time treat with peter purves
There's a classic clip which is rolled out every so often of a couple of St. John's Ambulancemen falling about in the hay at the bottom of an obstacle beam after one rider came of the beam and landed in the hay. Peter Purves claims - whilst laughing - that it's "like the Keystone Cops!"
'Kick Start' had a jaunty little theme tune by a group called Mr. Walkie-Talkie."We're the Sweeney son, and we haven't had any dinner!"
