    AV equipment with RF modulators

    Pagers, not that they ever caught on much in the UK.

    CB radios, apart from some dedicated users.

    Minidiscs

    Pocket TVs (unless you can get digital ones!)

    Open platform buses

    Dial up internet connections

    Various parallel port peripherals for PCs
    The PCI bus
    The IDE interface for hard drives

    Thumb shifters on kids mountain bikes
    Slam door trains in the south of England
    Credit and debit cards with magnetic strips
