you know, spent all your hard earned money on the latest gadget only to find out its been superceeded by next week?
I've probably had a few but the most expensive was a cd recorder to add to my hi-fi stack( yes i still have one the size of a small bugalow in the corner)spent about £300 only for them to be given away with the latest PC's weeks later. Even bought a new cd player to enhance the quality of the recordings!!!! Used it a few times then up rated my PC for about £50 for a much better and more user friendly version. Any takers?
    The eyes have it!

i have learnt never to buy the latest cutting edge technology. within a few moths you can get it for half the current price so i would rather wait

this is especially true of pc's and pc components

I remember buying my first DVD player about 5 years back, it cost me just under a hundred quid. Some one i knew at the time spent hundreds on a top of the range one but it wouldnt play dvds on backup or video cds where mine did. Boy did i take the michael out of him HEE HEE

I did that! spent a bloody fortune on a Sony player that would play region 2 dvds and NOTHING else.

My usual trick is to spend a fortune on the latest gadget 20 seconds before it goes obselete!

                  MINI DISCS!!!

I bought a Hi-Fi about 8 years ago with a Mini Disc player. Cost about £400 but had to have the lastest technology. Then, hardly anything was released on Mini Disc and mp3's became the next best thing so I never used it.
