Re: Favorite old car/s
I liked my grandpa's cars were my favs.He had a Hillman, not sure what kind, can't tell from the pic.The brake was at the side next to the door,so I got to sit in the middle! After that,he had a bright yellow Opal Kadett, couldn't miss it.My other fav was my dad's bronze Consul, had a wind open sunroof, which I used to stick my head out!!!!Yes,those were the days lol

Re: Favorite old car/s
Favourite old cars I like include the Ford Escort Mk1 (particularly the performance versions), Cortina Mk3 and Mk4, Granada Mk1. Rover SD1 (my dad owned one), Rover P6, Austin Maxi, also have a sneaking like of Allegros (the first car I owned was a 1976 Allegro 1.3 estate), Hillman Hunter, Avenger, Minx (series V - the late '60s 'razor-edge style in particular), Simca 1301/1501 saloon (dunno why, I've always liked the look of those), Fiat 131/132 (likewise), BMW 2002 saloon and touring.
Also, I'm rather partial to classic U.S. muscle cars - Ford Mustangs, Torino, Dodge Charger, Challenger, Pontiac G.T.O. (especially 'The Judge' versions), Chevrolet Nova, Chevelle, Camaro, Corvette, Buick Grand National, Pontiac Firebird & Trans Am."We're the Sweeney son, and we haven't had any dinner!"

Re: Favorite old car/s
I'd love a Vauxhall Astra GTE Mk1. I love them. They were great in their time. The Mk2 Astra GTE was better but doesn't have as much character in my opinion. I also love Hilman Imps, Peugeot 205 GTI's and 309 GTI's. My Dad had a really nice Firenza in the 70's.Heaven knows I'm miserable now.
