Indeed it is the Busby babes boarding the ill fated flight to Munich, as a former furniture salesman i was priveleged to serve Nobby stiles and his lovely wife some years ago, he was very engaging and had a great sense of humour....i didn't raise the subject of the munich air crash, that would of been in bad taste i feel.

Oddly enough one of my few claims to fame is that I was 'present' at the last official gathering of Busby's babes days before they flew off !!

I say 'present' but my mum was there and she was pregnant with me [emoji4]

She shared a birthday ( 29th Jan ) with Tommy Taylor and both parties were in the same celebration hall .. they sent a bottle of champagne across to my parent's table ..
