    Knew the millennium bug was tosh at the time,
    I declared that as soon as the clock hit midnight at 2000, no more ciggies! Not smoked since l9
    was that disco stereo a home made thing Victoria? Can’t recall seeing that in the Argos catalogue lol

      That stereo looks like a cooker.

      A 1960s version of Cilla Black came to mind there for some reason after I saw that picture on the previous page.

                    Also getting back on topic, looking on the newspaper archive at old editions of my local paper, a regular letter writer wrote in back in the 1980s and looked forward to "King Charles III" sending her a telegram for her 100th birthday if she lives that long. She was in 80s at the time, and passed away in 1992, over 30 years before Charles became King!

                        One thing i remember was talk of the millennium bug.

                        All these odd things were gonna happen.
