I was a teenager in the 70s and I guess like many hitting 60 I'm finding my dreams heading back to the lazy hazy days of my youth. For me it was flared trousers, big collars, long hair, platform shoes, Bowie, prog rock, Abba on Eurovision, long hot summers, 'O' and 'A' levels when they were really hard to pass, wanting to look like David Cassidy, mum and dad in the prime of life, holidays in England, etc. Maybe there are others around here with similar memories...

I was a kid growing up in the 70's and did not hit my teens until 78/79.But I certainly have many memories of that time and nearly all of them good ones. Plenty of goodies for you to browse through on here and many items to jog the memory. My best holiday memories were from Kent, Sheppey of all places, .
