Hi,

Just realised I'd started posting without introducing myself. I'm from Kent, aged 36, and I'm a massive fan of 1970s and 1980s popular culture and lifestyle, with a memory which stretches way back to those times.

Among my many hobbies and interests are collecting TV themes and DVDs of old comedy, dramas, and the childrens' programmes I used to watch in the '70s and early '80s. I'm also - as you can probably tell from my user name - a car nut!

I don't currently own an old car - unless you count my Year 2000 Escort as old, but I'm a huge old car enthusiast, and have owned several over the years. I like the Mk2 Cortina in your avatar.

I'm a particular fan of Cortinas, the Mk1 & 2 Granadas, Mk1 & 2 Escorts, Maxis, Landcrabs, Allegros, Rover P5s, P6s & SD1s, Vauxhall Victors (FD & FE mainly), Vivas, and most other old British and European saloons from the late 60s and the 70s.
