hello from a newbie !!

hello everyone,

I have just found this site and wow what memories !!......glad to know i`m not the only one to fondly remember my childhood.....now mid forties,teenagers who think you are pehistoric,i can drift back to my youth!!

I have had a look at the board games section,and again i had loads of them Haunted house,ghost train,subbuteo etc etc....i think ,no sorry i know they were the days when games were proper family things,when families actually got togehter to play these.......and not a computer in sight !!!!

the days when games were proper family things,when families actually got togehter to play these......

...and had violent rows over a detail in the (tangled) rules for "Escape From Colditz!"

And yes, I have a good board games collection, especially from that first wave of good German games in the early 80's, though also memories of some very silly and no-skill "family games" from somewhat earlier.
