Does anyone know if the comestibles was purchasable? I.e. the Flakes and Treets looked real....I wish they'd do something like that for a while longer but with actual products you can buy and eat....but they wouldn't taste the same, would they....
Yes, there were some (the ones shown with prices under them) for sale. Most were just display though.
Would be great if they had a permanent exhibition, and got all companies involved to repackage stuff, that could only be bought there.
Wonder how long before some the sweets turn up for sale on Ebay??
The Flakes had the correct typeface and 'look' but incorrect modern foiled wrapper, should have been the cellophane type to be truly spot on eh...but I'm nit picking.
That is brilliant! I've always wanted to go to that Goodwood meeting but never got around to it.
As a fan of old logos and packaging, that is amazing. It's worth also visiting the Museum of Brands, Advertising & Packaging in Notting Hill, which has a lot of that sort of thing.
