    Not 70's to 90's so put in the lounge, I've come across this website of British Pathe films, the clip I've linked to is my home city in 1960 but there are 90,000 clips on there apparently. Might be of interest

        Yes British Pathe is a goldmine of info! Loads of stuff for me on the RAF and USAF, Motor Vehicles and basicaly just how we used to live.

        Such a shame they didn't carry on into the latter part of the 1970s and 80s isnt it? They seemed to film a lot of the mundaine little items like supermarkets and streets with everyday domestic life featured didnt they? (you know the sort of thing us lot are constantly delveing into?)

          I remember Pathe newsreels were once featured on blue Peter, about the time the best clips from each year were put on a video.

          Movietone carried making newsreels until the end of the 1970s.
