Animated Avatar?

If I wanted an animated avatar in my profile and posts how do I get one? I've seen someones got a cool one that changes from Bagpuss to a Clanger amongst others...help?! Cheers.

You need to get an animated gif file to use as your avatar.

I steal mine off other forums or search google for animated avatars.

the glitterball one was on the butlins forum, all I did is 'save picture as' , then uploaded it here in the usual way

Just build your own man. That way you can cut out all the ones you don't like. It might be an idea resizing the images you collect to unify pixel per inch but you know that already what with the graphics background.

Damn sf, I made that when I joined DYR and I can't remember what GIF animator program I used now ><

it's really easy to do tho, you just resize what ever image you want for your gif using photo editing prog ( do as many as you like )
then using the GIF animator Prog, just stick em all together and save - simples
