The swimmer was a bit surreal, not seen it for a long time but as i recall it's basically Lancaster swimming the length of all the garden pools in his neighbourhood, can't remember why however.

Swimming in the neighbours pools until he got back home and saying to most of the women from his passed you look so radiant

Last night I watched on Sony Classic Movie channel 32 on freeview
The Swimmer 1968 with Burt Lancaster to be honest I have never seen this film before it was a mystery but still enjoyed it
Followed by Guess who's coming to Dinner 1967 great film

I loved this the first time around, must watch it again at some point...Kunta kinty (prob wrong spelling)

The book is more detailed, especially about Kunta's life in Africa.

On Saturday night I watched Roots (1977). Because it is in six parts, so yesterday viewed part two and tonight hope to see part three.

I loved this the first time around, must watch it again at some point...Kunta kinty (prob wrong spelling)

Just been watching another favourite "genevieve" from 1953 starring John gregson , Kenneth more and Dinah sheridan...rivalry between two friends who compete in a race between London and Brighton,the stake is gregsons beloved vintage car Genevieve......A gentle feelgood film that i have watched many times
