The Next Three Days - acting masterclass from Russell Crowe (yes, really!), Brian Dennehy (although he only has a coupla lines!) and Liam Neeson (just one scene!).

Chronicle from 2012

Now this was a real beauty! Everything about it screamed "Garbage" - no star names, recent production and it was on the Horror Channel!

I though I'd watch it anyway and was given a real treat! It's about three male "teens" (another reason to approach with caution!) from Seattle who found an object which gave them superpowers.

A simple premise, done before, but wow! The special effects were so realistic! ANd great acting, too! Highly recommended!

I meant to watch it but missed it.

Nice to see a modern film with no big names that was actually quite good.

Ill keep an eye out for it.
