I don't watch many films these days, nothing like I used to- even over Christmas I only watched the Dr.Who Christmas Special, and didn't see any movies. Most recent one I saw was 'Rain Man'- excellent film.

I had an 80's day last weekend and watched The goonies followed by Ghostbusters and Electric dreams

first time id seen it.

and it was really good.

I've just watched the incredible "Ninja The Final Duel", and am about to watch "The Godfather" again.
Two very different movies, but both absolute classics.

Too many low budget b movies.Purchased a couple of those Mill Creek sci fi sets.Bad acting,bad transfers,bad films,bad fasion and very bad monsters.............but heck they are fun to watch and well worth the few sqid I paid for them.
Also seen the Alligator people and the Giant claw over the last couple of weeks along with Attack the block and prometheus and Men in black 3 which I loved.

I watched The Water Babies recently. I remembered really enjoying it when I was a kid.......oh dear. It wasn't as good as I once thought, haha.

i've been watching the bond films right from the start, i'm up to 'You Only Live Twice'.

also watched Clockwise (1986) with John Cleese for the first time the other nite, not too bad but not great either.

watched the boy in the striped pyjamas the other night.........have seen it three times now and it is a very thought provoking film

Yes Shilts was watching boy in the striped pyjamas the other night myself.

it really gives a sense of what it was like to be there at that time.

Oh my word, Darren - Have you seriously never seen The Godfather !
It's one of the greatest movies ever made, and is absolutely a must see.
Trust me mate, set a few hours aside and watch the first two Godfather films, I promise you that you won't be disapointed.
Don't bother with part 3 though, it's not very good.
