I like almost everthing Victoria Wood has done so I really like this.

I still have all the episodes from the original screenings so theres lots of period trailers recorded.

A couple of years ago me & my then girlfriend had a marathon of them all over a weekend, which was great fun.

Yeah, I have also seen a few episodes recently,
There always seems to be a Cliff Richard, but either Shirley Bassey or Chris Deburgh tend to win.

I have the boxset & intend to watch it as soon as I get my current series watching out of the way.

I have been watching Grange Hill (Series 5)(again), & Prisoner Cell Block H (Series 2)(again).
Also Eastenders whenever it's on, because my girlfriend is addicted to it.

I watched some episodes of the first series of Secret Army on DVD recently. I'd never seen it before but know it had the reputation of being a classic BBC drama series (and the inspiration for 'Allo 'Allo). I'd previously watched Colditz and although some episodes seemed like fillers on the whole that was as good as I remembered it. I found Secret Army quite a let down by comparison. Apart from the main characters the acting was pretty poor and although I'm used to the fact that 70s dramas tend to be slower paced, this really dragged. The episodes more or less followed a prescribed format too.

I'd rented DVD 1 & 2 but have removed the others from my list although I might go back to it, particularly if there are strong recommendations to keep watching.
