Re: Kids of today v 80's technology.
Hmmm, not too sure if todays kids are really that thick. How to shoot using a joystick?........when its only got one button.Me thinks someones pulling something.I can understand the older girl not wanting to use an 80's computer.
But then it also works the other way.Give some of us old ones an MP3 player and many of us won't know what to do with it.

It's almost frightening that kids today seem to know computers backwards and forwards like no one else's business. While every time I have the slightest problem with the computer I'm totally clueless and out of my depth.Last edited by victorbrunswick; 25-07-2013, 07:37.

Re: Kids of today v 80's technology.
The girl hit the nail on the head.To us it was certainly incredible. We were the first generation with the ability to use computers for graphics and games in our own homes.Kids today seem to be able to multitask quite easily on computers so I suppose the old tech must seem a little boring and slow to them.

Re: Kids of today v 80's technology.
im kind of the same as you mate.
although im getting a bit better with modern computers technology.
its astounding just how good kids now are with computers.
but the younger you are the easier and quicker you learn.
but its funny seeing kids today with what we grew up with.
like the commodre 64 which is huge and the tape deck for loading games which can take a while.
computers where so big then not like today
