I have used one of those water filters and put some tap water into it, and put it in the fridge overnight - it doesn't taste as great as cutting out on the middleman and getting it straight out of the tap does it?

I liked fizzy water but, for the still stuff, I have a flask in the fridge which I top up with tap water as and when

Despite having the cleanest mains fed water supply in the world Britons spend a staggering 2 billion pounds a year on bottled water, if you spend £1 on a bottle of water it is equivalent to (wait for it)10,000 litres of mains fed water. (source daily telegraph)

That has always happened in a way - I pay Severn Trent Water for my water bill, and I fill bottles up when I turn the tap on.

It's the cheap way of doing it, mind you.
