we had fun taken kids out got loads of goodies from money to toys great night for them

It was relitavely quiet apart from a few fireworks

We only got one group of kids knocking at the door and a surprise visit from my nieces which was nice. Guess I get to keep most of the sweeties to myself this year.
Our shopping center did get invaded by hundreds of children and their parents later yesterday afternoon for some reason. Some of the children had really good costumes on.

it was packed with kids in street bet all them people hated that night and we had some ppl who said no thanks boring old "beep" "beep" i wanted splater eggs on there houses as trick but thought better not i did all that when i was young didnt want kids take after me lol

Trick or treat seems to be a double standard to me. On one hand most parents tell their kids not to take sweets off strangers the next they let their kids go begging on the door steps of strangers for them. Must admit that trick or treat was not something that was done so much when I was a kid. I don't remember doing it myself nor any of my mates. We did penny for the guy instead which I have a feeling was banned by our local council as it was seen as begging.
