Sadly drive in cinemas have largely disappeared from the scene. There used to be several in my immediate area and now they're all gone.

There was one in Kings Park Bournemouth a few years ago as a trial but it flopped

Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

          Rose Parade in Pasadena
-- After many years of seeing it on TV I went to see the parade early this year and found it a bit anticlimactic because the parade would frequently stop so that a float or marching band up ahead or behind could get sorted out or merely to clean up the horse poo. The funny part were people running up to the floats to take pictures during these pauses.

              Marilyn Monroe
              James Dean

One thing I am sure is very American is where chubby people (to put it politely ) go to a burger joint and ask for a super meal (the biggest available) and then ask for a diet coke. DIET coke??!! WTF??!! Do they think the DIET coke will offset the super meal so they wont get fat??!!

Ironically if you're concerned about your weight it's far better to have a regular Coke with your meal instead of Diet Coke. Because regular Coke is already somewhat filling you won't eat as much compared to Diet Coke which has no calories and if anything acts as an appetite stimulant.

You couldn't get me to go on half the rides at most of your typical theme parks these days.
