I've just sat and watched a series of 4 minute shorts on all4 called what not to do. They've been made by scope and are utterly hilarious! They're adult humour and use actors amongst the public to cover all sorts of awkward situations that really do happen to people with disabilities. I've laughed my socks off at every one of them and I can't believe how dense some people can be.
Benson Season One (DVD). You can pick this up on most places online on DVD or even buy on iTunes. I watched them at the time when they were on ITV in the early 80s. I would say that most of them have stood the test of time, and some remain very funny. The actor that plays the Governor is really good. I'm watching season two right now.
Also just bought Season Three of CHIPs having watched the first two seasons already.
Ive been watching the Goldberg's on E4 recently. It's a bit like wonder years but set in the 1980s. I didn't like it at first but its quickly become a guilty pleasure for me and I laugh my head off at it now.
