Steptoe and son I have this collection and do watch every now and again

I'd forgotten Steptoe and Son. Some real gems in this series - one of my favourites is 'Divided we Stand'

Ill sure agree on love thy neighbour.
Another would be worzel gummidge wpnderful show with a great cast.

two that come to mind are goodnight sweetheart & love thy neighbour. I have both series on boxset dvd. Love thy neighbour, sadly, will never be broadcast again on any channel as it is deemed too racist. Rudolph walker who played the black guy is now in the uk soap eastenders

Two that come to mind are Goodnight Sweetheart & Love Thy Neighbour. I have both series on boxset DVD. Love Thy Neighbour, sadly, will never be broadcast again on any channel as it is deemed too racist. Rudolph Walker who played the black guy is now in the uk soap Eastenders

Yeah,it's getting too ridiculous over there.Wasn't the nursery rhyme "baa baa black sheep" banned over there?
They still play Love Thy Neighbour over here in Australia.It was on just a few months ago.

Just watching Peaky Blinders from the start ..... it's a fairly recent program 2013 I think , so there's only TWO series of 6 eps so far .
This is a truly amazing series IMHO . Over the years I've raved about The Sopranos , The Wire , Breaking Bad , Mad Men , The Tudors , Deadwood and more recently Boardwalk Empire , True Detective , Game of Thrones and Vikings BUT this is possibly my favourite of ALL !!

Superb , writing , cast , acting , photography , locations everything is just to my taste . Even the background music is wonderful ...

Best of all its "based" on real people and real events rather like Boardwalk Empire and Deadwood .
