    Trouble in Calais

    This is not about being RACIST but being REALISTIC.
    It should have been sorted out a long time ago,2000 migrants were at Calais on Monday heading for the UK.Millions of pounds are going to be spent on more fencing around the channel tunnel.
    Was the channel tunnel a good thing we are paying for it now,with all the trouble when will it end.

    The Channel tunnel is a mistake. We have ferries so what's wrong with them?

    Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

      There's only so much you can load on them & they take hours to cross.

            BTW, they wanted to have Germans in tanks Invading , etc...in the title sequence on BBC but beeb bosses chickened out.

                This is a major issue. Has most of these so called migrants are classing themselves has refugees, under the Geneva Convention, they can only demand asylum in the first safe country they enter. Many other countries keep refugees in holding camps for years. Many of these trying to enter Britain, are in fact, economic migrants. A big difference. Most of them who try to get into Britain, actually state one of the reasons is benefits. They also know they will get a house free of charge.

                  I dont agree when people are on the waiting list for a council house and migrants jump the queue.The hospitals, schools,social services having to cope with extra people is a problem.The more that pour into and allow in then they will be more of a burden on us and we will pay for it .I dread to think what the future is going to be like,wouldnt like to be young again,work until you go into your box no retirement state pension.I can see it happening,I have to work until 66 before retiring I would be mortified if it changed again.
