I loved ID4 when it came out - watched it 3 times at the cinema! Now I can't stand it....lol. I do like the MIB films. First one was really funny for me. 2, not so...had its moments but the story was weak. 3 looks like its back on form and Josh Brolin as a young Tommy Lee Jones is brilliant casting - he's really nailed Jone's mannerisms and voice for the role. I once saw Jones is a horrid film called Jackson County Jail and when I looked at the young Jones I thought - James Brolin's son would be perfect to play him as a younger man in any film role and look at MIB3!

Independence Day has the most hackneyed cliched dialogue ever witnessed. "Must go faster!", "Gentlemen, we have a situation", "looks like I picked a hell of a day to quit drinkin" etc.

For those wanting to see the worst movie of all time I shall post the link. It's for a film called "Swordsman with an Umbrella". I urge you all to view this film. To give you an insight into how bad this film is..It was filmed in Taiwanese, poorly translated and given Mandarin subtitles which were in turn poorly translated into English subtitles that were so bad the "actors" who dubbed the film changed them.

I was going to mention some highlights/lowlights but on viewing most of this film again..I declare it to be the greatest film of all time!

Species - good first 2 minutes then it's just a sexy alien woman and no story
Melancholia - art over content
Dumb and Dumber - cringeworthy, after a childhood of slapstick tv shows I can't stand that sort of thing
Dirty Dancing - All the girls at school loved it, I hated it.
Turner and Hooch - I just didn't like the slobbering dog

Add to that anything romantic aimed at women with a very small handful of exceptions.

Me too! I also have the uncensored region 1 dvd which is a better film altogether than the uk VHS release (Media Video).

Now, what about 'G.B.H', a British film from the mid 80s starring Cliff Twemlow,
I doubt anybody's seen a worse movie than that one.
Personally I love it.

Yep, got the big box original of that too, did you know that Cliff made a sequel ?
I guess I can see why that amazing cover wasn't allowed here.

Anybody seen 'Queen Kong' ?
Now that is a bad movie.

I'm gonna have to go through my collection so I can post the names of some incredibly bad movies for DYRers to check out.
