Ironically enough, I get a lot more excited about General Elections as an adult as I would have done over Christmas and birthdays as a child - I suppose that it is democracy in action and as citizens, we have a chance to have our own say and doing something about it. Almost anyway...

Got to Vote at 1.15 pm, and of course it was pouring with rain (just like on the day of the local elections back in May) and I have wet feet - listened to the World at One (no political talk there of course), and heard that Sir Paul McCartney Christmas interview on my personal radio as I was walking to the Polling Station. Glad I have done the deed this time around.

Because of going to the Polling Station in the wet weather (why did it have to rain today of all days?) I think I have a cold coming on - I suppose I could blame it on Boris Johnson...

I’d ideally want our co- leader to be able to pick a pair of matching shoes and even better one right and one left ..


Two left shoes is never a good look especially canvassing door to door and posing for cameras ..

Contrary to popular belief you cannot catch a cold because it's wet, the cold virus is an airborne germ usually caught from other snot nosed humans

I have to admit that from constituency level, the result of the election was surprising but welcoming.
