Not really comparable to the 'flu, which only kills a minuscule proportion of those infected (0.1% or so)
If the stats that have been released are to be believed, Coronavirus could kill 3 to 5% of those infected.

Correct ..
worldwide figures indicate 3.3 % death rate...

Although it’s currently running at 15% in Iran ..

Uk Healthcare are apparently very concerned about the recent outbreaks and deaths in Korea , Italy etc - as there are no direct links to China .. and it poses a very real risk of a pandemic ...

Well stop flying the barstewards in then !!

Heard the word pandemic mentioned today, apparently however 4/5 infected will only experience the same symptoms as a cold and many nothing at all

Four of the cruise ship passengers evacuated from Japan have tested POSITIVE for coronavirus in the UK.
The virus was passed on in the Diamond Princess cruise ship and the affected patients have been transferred from Arrowe Park Hospital to specialist infection centres.

China should ban those revolting "wet markets" immediately, along with many of their bullshit "medicines" .

Quite apart from the human cost, I guess this will severely impact the cruise holiday business. Who wants a holiday on a floating Petri dish?

It won’t happen .. don’t they still believe that rhino / elephant tusks can help with libido ??
