We are finally at the end of the year that has been, what HM The Queen would probably have thought of back in 1992 - an Annus Horribilis. As we leave the year behind, I personally think that 2020 was the year which I will always think of as the "Year of Coronavirus" more than anything else.
On Friday, we will be beginning the 21st year of the 21st century, and I have got my brand new "instruction manual" to get me through the next 12 months (most people would call it a 2021 "page a day" black diary). My hopes for 2021 are not only the year for coronavirus to disappear, but also personally, a chance to move to another area so that I can get away from some problems that I have had during the previous year - a long story, but New Years are always associated with new beginnings. I also promise not to take a sabbatical from the forum for as long as I did during the early months of 2020!
I would like to all regulars and guests on the Do You Remember forum a very Happy New Year and best wishes for 2021 and may God bless the New Year and all who sails in her.
