    Re: Your usernames...

I couldn't think of one and then scratched my knee and remebered the scar I've got from playing British Bulldogs in the playground at school. A boy called Gareth (proper 70s/80s schoolboy name) tackled me and I got a stone stuck in my knee that had to be pulled out with tweezers. Not that i dwell on it or anything...

"Scream queen" is a term for an actress who keeps getting cast as the sexy victim and/or "final girl" in horror movies. I'm a big horror fan, and I like rhymes, so I used it

When young I sang a version of DurhamTown, substituting Egg and Chips instead. It became my nickname for 10 years and seemed appropriate for a nostalgia site.

What a nice story, hope you catch up with her someday My username is inspired by Life On Mars (surprise surprise!)...I'm a big fan of the programme and the same age as Sam Tyler so remember the 70s in much the same way as he does. He describes the 70s as like being on another planet, so I guess I must have grown up on another planet!

I have about 2000 retrogames at the moment, 500 ps1 games, 400 original xbox games, 150 megadrive games, and lots of: dreamcast, saturn, snes, master system, gameboy, gamegear, etc. My four year old lad has a good few years of entertainment ahead of him. He already loves snes mario kart competitions! Collecting games along with collecting 80s artifacts is my obsession. I have many 'Walkmen', boomboxes, and items in proper retro packaging.

How about user names you thought about using but decided against? One that I had considered was Go 1949! because my keys happened to be sitting on my desk at the time and one of them has the number G01949 on it.
