I just made a word up - pafloji - and only got three 'hits' when I tried it on Google (and one of them was to offer an alternative spelling) .

Now that I've put my new word in here it'll go up to four hits!

Reminded me of a game whereby you put three completely unrelated words - real words - onto the search and see who can come up with the least number of hits.

Like "gesticulating sontaran handbag". I got eight with that which isn't very good. The idea is to try and get zero.

Gonna try it - however even if successful then as soon as I post the 'zero hit' phrase in here it'll score a hit next time I Google!

Just gonna have to come in here and announce that I've done it then people can PM me for the words

It reminds me of Dave Gorman when he tried Googlewhacking a few years ago.

It's very hard to do with the way the net keeps expanding.

I've watched that Dave Gorman show a couple of times..really great fun....he makes for an excellent storyteller

Same here, I just finished reading Are You Dave Gorman? again.

The TV version, The Dave Gorman Collection was great, but is hard to get on DVD at a decent price.

we played this at work a few years ago and entered a phrase that came up with only one hit ( I am not going to post it on here in fear of a lifetime ban for sheer sickness ).

Just tried it now and it came back with over 100 hits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
