staffslad you got wrong the one I envisaged you would most definitely get. They had everything but a real anti aircraft gun, Up til the end they trained on a wooden one. Nothing for me mate?

I could vaguely remember the gun crew shouting bang as they were put through drills, which made me think it was a lack of ammunition.

He played Dr Kilmore in Doctor and Dr Nookie in Again, Doctor.

It is a far-fetched idea, but I suppose in the tradition of Carry On actors appearing in drag. TBH it isn't one of my favourites. I read somewhere that it was not supposed to be a Carry On, and I think that shows in the tone of the film.
