    This British harmonious band was big during the late 60's & early 70's. Their first single "I Live For The Sun' was released in 1968 and reached number 20 in the UK charts, this was surprising at the time due to the heavy rock bands that dominated the music scene. A year later, they released another single 'Early In The Morning' which reached number 8 in the UK singles chart, this sold over a million copies in the U.S. and they received a gold disc for their contribution. Another hit single included 'Hitchin' A Ride' which was widely popular in the U.S. with the hippies and festival goers during the early 70's, this track became an cult hit.

    I remember Hitchin A Ride was featured on The Golden Oldie Picture Show (worth a thread on it's own), & given a video featuring a trolly that strayed from a Supermarket.

      What a site this is. It's like coming home!!
      Yeah worked with this band in about 1981 in Bolton - sound engineer was a bit wierd - well wierd!!
