Motor Mouse and Auto Cat

Thank God this is here, I thought I was going mad, I remember this from when I was young (30+ years ago), but no-one else does. The main story was a cat and a mouse living in a garage, the cat making more and more cars to catch the mouse, and the mouse making cars to evade the cat. Great fun, but little known it seems, most people look at me as if I'm insane when I talk about it.

Yes, I remember this! Did it have a cartoon called 'It's the Wolf' in the middle of it? That seems oddly familiar.
