Lame Ducks

I remember that I loved 'Lame Ducks' but yet remember so little about it. Nobody I know remembers it. The only things I remember are that they had an old fashioned Cadbury's vending machine on the wall (the one that you put your money in and turned the appropriate knob until chocolate came out) and that the couple or family grew their own vegetables.

I think the choclolate machine was there because they lived in a old abandoned train station. Remember this show was being a bit odd, probably only watched it for Lorraine Chase

I remember the show, but not what it was about. Lorraine Chase and the guy from Day Of The Triffids were in it.

Didn't the begining have an illustrated intro with each actors head atop a lame ducks body?

What was it about?!
