Diadora Borg Elites

Without doubt, Borg Elites were the coolest trainers around. Back in the day, only the most respected lads wore them. I remember being at school discos and seeing the chosen few wearing them with jeans and Fila tracksuit tops. I managed to buy myself a pair last year.

They were and still are the best!
Diadora have just reissued a new lot currently available at JD Sports for £57
Unfortunately, they are just plain white this time, but still cool.

I'm lucky enough to still have a pair of the previous reissues in silver

I had a pair of these in the '80s. I loved them. Didn't realise that reissues were available. Looks like I know whats going on my shopping list!

Through the magic of Ebay & other sources, I now have 7 pairs..
Two of the Grey JD sports ones
BB elite in Silver
BB elites in Gold (I lusted after for 25+ years)
BB original in Brown
BB elite in Navy
BB Elite in White

Not been cheap hobby though ;0

managed to pick up both gold and silver borg elites for about £60 each recently - not the ridiculous £115-£150 being asked.had to search the web hard though!
best trainers ever made !

Are these the kind that had like Green swashy stripes? - if so I always admired these as I did any Diadora Trainers in general in thee 1980s and 1990s!
