Love Hurts was a British TV series running from 1992-1994 on the BBC. It starred Adam Faith and Zoe Wanamaker. Tessa (Wanamaker) goes through a horrid break up from her married ex-lover/boss when he leaves her for a younger mistress. So, she decides to get a new job and leaves the rat race behind for a position at a charity. Tessa finds a new lover in Frank Carver, and the series follows their relationship and that of Frank's and his teenage daughter.

It's interesting that Adam Faith tried a few times at acting over the years.

I've not seen it but I understand he was good in Budgie, & was considered for the lead role in Shine On Harvey Moon.
