    Does anyone remember those tinned pies?! I remember my dad used to like them, and I thought they were so exciting because they came in a tin! Don't actually remember eating one though.......

    You can still get them, I bought one a while back when they were on offer, partually to keep in reserve in case my fridge freezer had problems.

    I had it a couple of weeks ago, it was fairly nice tasting but I couldn't get it out the tin without it breaking up.

      A couple of years ago a woman sued our local supermarket after some Fray Bentos pies fell on top of her from a shelf. I shouldn't but...lol, you can just picture it.

        what happened that they fell on her head.
        where they badly stacked or something.
        how much did she get money wise.

        fray bentos lovely.

        a few of them falling on your head would be real sore.

          She said they were stacked too high, supermarket said they weren't to blame. She lost the case.

            so it was her clumsiness that caused them to fall on her mate.
