Edit feature

great forum but why do you switch off
the edit feature after about an hour ?
I go to forums where I can edit my post 2 years later
if I wish.
Why make petty restrictions ... theres no need.

People ruined threads by editing and removing content long after, I'm afraid it's the rules to protect the flow and sense of threads.

there are forums where I can go back after two years
and edit my post !
