Here's a "One hit wonder"(at least in the states) i'm suprised no one said. To me, it was the best pop song of the 80's. "Your Love" by The Outfield. Great tune.

More off the top of my head include:

"Boy Toy" by Tia (80's Freestyle song)
"Boom, boom, boom (lets go back to my room) by Paul Lekakis
"Mickey" - Toni Basil (corny song but popular)
"Pac Man Fever" - Buckner and Garcia (I got a pocket full of quarters and i'm headed to the arcade...) Good song for it's time
"Tell Me What You Want" - Zebra

Hello btw, I am new. Nice site you have here.
I remeber this tune. It had the really daft lyrics: "What's the colour of money? Don't tell me that you think it's green, me I know it's red"

One "One hit wonder" that comes instantly to mind is Katrina and the Waves - "Walking on Sunshine".
I beg to differ Katrina and the Waves had several hits and represented the UK in the Eurovision song contest also. Which they won with 'Love shine a light' in 1997.
