Soft Cell had several hits, namely, Bedsitter, Say Hello Wave Goodbye & Torch with a no 1 album in Non Stop Erotic Caberet in 1981.

Musical Youth had 2 follow up hits to Pass The Dutchie and although a hit in the 90's Vanilla Ice had a follow up hit called Play That Funky Music. Chessny Hawkes hit was in 1991

But for slightly more obscure (and more recent - late 70s-early-80s) one hit wonders I'll go for:

Aaaaaah, but Katrina and the Waves went on to win Eurovision with "Love shine a light" so they had a comeback!

My favourite one hit wonder of all time was Owen Paul's "Favourite Waste of Time"
