Geoff Barradale is known to current music lovers as the manager of The Arctic Monkeys. But back in 1985 he had a minor hit called Burning Flame with his pop oufit, Vitamin Z. They also opened for Tears For Fears, but did very little in the way of making a big impact on the charts.

The chick in this video is smokin hot. But she is more interested in the bassist than the singer. It's also worth noting that Peter Gabriel did guest work for these guys on their Rite Of Passage album. How's that for "minor" success, eh?

If it is a connection Tears for Fears recorded a lot of their stuff at Gabriels studio near Bath

Gosh, I remember buying an import 7" single of this, on spec that it was a "soft cell-like track". I'll be off now and look for it. They had an album did they?
