Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast Tour.

I was 14 and my sister got me in.

Great concert, right up at the stage next to a speaker stack. I was
partially deaf for about a week.

Iron Maiden for me too - 'Somewhere in Time' Tour 1986 at the Birmingham Odeon. My 'concert virgin' eardrums took a battering aswell.

My first gig was Beautiful South and the support act was the Lightning Seeds !!!

First gig was in March 1984 at the Brighton Centre to see Whitesnake, the support band was Great White. Classic bands great gig!

1988 Prince Lovesexy tour at Wembley arena. It was a great night, it took two hours for my ears to stop ringing.
I took one of my younger brothers to see his first gig last year, to see The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
He couldn't stop talking about it for a week after.

My first gig was a Rick Wakeman concert. Dad took me when I was little as a treat for doing well at school (and for being the first family member besides him to actually like Rick's music :P ). I got to meet the band afterwards, which was a nice addition to the whole first concert experience.

The Nolans at Poole Art Centre in 1983.

They wished me Happy Birthday in between songs! And I met them all afterwards and they signed my programme. Plus my sister bought me a red 'The Nolans' sun-visor which had flashing lights on it. Ooh I thought I was the bees knees in that.
